Big Weekend at Pleasanton

Fresh off the stables exploits at Royal Ascot we move way west to the Pleasanton County Fair. A very exciting weekend indeed, Anisette a homebred daughter from our race mare Anais makes her first start Friday. She is a lovely filly but we have no idea if she has a racing temperament. We are hopeful for a good experience for her first time out and perhaps she can show a little something on debut.

Sunday is the inaugural running of the $150,000 Pleasanton Mile Stakes. We send Tesoro to the race and he has every right to be there. Tesoro ran very well last time out to win an Allowance race at Golden Gate Fields and fits nicely with what will be a tough and large field of experienced horses. Tesoro is training very well and we expect him to be ready to fire.

There may not be any Royal Carriages this weekend but there will be some talented horses ours included!
