Waiting Game

Like all industries, Horse Racing has been hit by the Covid-19 Virus. At this time, it is even more clear how blessed we are to participate in this great game with these beautiful animals. It is (was?) shaping up to be a very exciting year for Highland Yard.

We were expecting two stakes races over the next two weeks prior to the cancellation of racing in Ireland and Santa Anita. Princess Yaiza will miss the Noblesse Stakes and Venetian Harbor will miss the Santa Anita Oaks.

We are hopeful to have a few runners upcoming at the tracks remaining open including Golden Gate Fields and Gulfsteam Park.

We will provide a 2020 breeding update when Anais agrees to have her very overdue foal!
