2 Year-Old Preview
We have a nice crop of two-year olds who have entered training this year. It is a fools errand to predict which ones will make it to the races as two-year olds. Nonetheless, we outline the current status of the crop in this post.
Aula - Alternation / Teatro
This homebred colt is in training with Javier Arenas in Ocala. He has come along nicely and has proven one of Javiers’ barn favorites. He is expected to go to Christophe Clement to race on the NYRA circuit. We hope this guy will be ready for a start at Saratoga this summer. In Javier’s words … “you’ve got a real nice colt here”.
Consort Royal - Royal Story / Mendelssohn
We are very excited to have acquired this filly in Deauville last summer. After breaking her jaw over the winter (don’t ask) she is in full training with Nicolas Clement in Chantilly. Consort Royal will debut this summer in France.

Cyber Attack - Online Alexander / Saxon Warrior
Acquired at Goffs as a yearling we hope to have as much success with Cyber Attack as our Goffs purchase Sunset Shiraz who was multiple graded stakes placed at two-years old last year. Like Sunset Shiraz, Cyber Attack was broke by Alex and Ben Harvey at Winter Lodge and is now in full training with Gavin Cromwell in County Meath. Cyber Attack ran well in a schooling race at Leopardstown last month and we are excited for a potential debut at The Curragh May 23rd.
Darnay - Miss Chatelaine / Nyquist
This colt, born in May, is a bit behind his stablemates and has had a few issues recently. We are hoping for a swift recovery from some swelling in his ankle which may require the removal of a bone chip. He is well bred from our lovely stakes winning mare Miss Chatelaine and we will be very patient with him. We would anticipate a 3 year-old campaign for him but he may surprise us and get to the track late this fall.
Magnolia Wind - Anais / Central Banker
This pretty, dark brown filly has been in training for two months in Ocala and is expected to move over to David Duggan to campaign on the NYRA circuit this summer. She has been advancing in her work and as a New-York bred she will be eligible for NY Bred premiums.

Siouxanne - Privet / Sioux Nation
Purchased at Goffs as a yearling, Siouxanne is in training with Gavin Cromwell in Ireland. She ran mid-pack in her schooling race but got something from the experience. We are hopeful she will debut in Ireland this summer. Her father should be a good source of precocious speed as he was a Grade 1 winner at the Curragh and a Norfolk Stake winner at Royal Ascot at two-years old.
