Consort Royal Scores
Consort Royal was purchased from the summer 2021 Arqana Yearling Sale in Deauville. Her path to the races has been tricky. She was pre-trained and given a solid foundation by Alex and Ben Harvey at Winter Lodge in Ireland. One week prior to shipping to Nicolas Clements’ barn in Chantilly from Winter Lodge she fractured her jaw in an unlikely stall accident. Surgery, recovery and an altered diet left her in a precarious position. She fought through all this to make a full recovery and six months later was finally ready for the channel trip.
On April 12th, she entered the starting gate at Evreux Racecourse in France against 12 foes. She fell back to the rear of the field early but made an imporessive run over the last two furlongs to break her maiden in fine style. We are excited for her future and look forward to seeing her back in the starting gate.
