Foaling Season Done
The Highland Yard foaling season came to a close with the last of three foals, all fillies born yesterday.
Anais delivered a healthy Central Banker filly at Rancho San Miguel in California. She is chestnut with a white blaze. Not sure where the color or the blaze came from as both her sire and mare are bay/brown and neither has a blaze. She will run in California and benefit from the states breeding program.
Teatro’s baby by Collected looks much like her future stablemate and is a strong looking filly to be sure. She was born at McMahon Thorougbreds in Saratoga Springs, NY and will, with any luck, grace the winners circle at that famous track just a few miles from her birth place. A striking looking foal she is as can be seen below.
Teatro 2021 Filly
Our mare Illumined, sourced at the Tattersalls sale in the UK also had a strong looking foal. The foal by the new sprint sire Expert Eye can be seen below and will go in to training in Ireland in a couple of years.

We are excited with the crop and look forward to watching them mature.
