Debut Runner in Ireland

Not always excited for a Monday morning but next Monday is different. Sunset Shiraz, the well bred filly we purchased from the Goffs Orby yearling sale last year will debut at Naas racecourse in Ireland. A full field of 20 fillies from the top trainers in Ireland have signed on. This will be the hottest contested two-year old maiden of the season so far and we hope our filly aquits herself well.

As sibling to a St Leger 2nd in Berkshire Rocco and out of a broodmare by German stayer Shirocco, we expect Sunset Shiraz to get better with age and distance. As they say, you have to start somewhere … so why not in the deep end.
