Sunset Shiraz on Vacation

What a year it has been for Sunset Shiraz. She gained a nice maiden today at Gowran Park outclassing nine rivals to win by six lengths. This along with placings in three Group Stakes this year including the Group 1 Moyglare, place her in the elite crop of two year old fillies in Ireland.

Shiraz will get a well deserved vacation at Baroda Stud and head back to trainer Gavin Cromwell in January. She is deserving of a shot at a Guineas Trial in the Spring with the hope she will run in next years Irish 1000 Guineas. Enjoy your vacation Sunset Shiraz!
